This position partners closely with business leaders to attract, develop, and retain talent while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies. The HR Manager promotes a positive employee experience and fosters a culture consistent with UGC's values of Inclusivity, Integrity, Reliability, and Safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process using the Talent Acquisition module in Paycom. Collaborates with managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions, pay ranges and hiring criteria. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Manages the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination. Conducts background checks, drug screens and references checks on potential hires. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. Prepares and distributes information introducing all new hires to the organization. Compensation & Compliance Prepares and submits data to participate in salary surveys. Ensures pay ranges are maintained, enforced and updated. Continuously strives to streamline processes for both payroll/benefit processing and employee experience. Maintains data integrity within Paycom and leverages HRIS reporting and analytics to support business decisions. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Maintains the employee handbook. Administers and coordinates all leave programs, including FMLA, state paid leave programs, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes. Assists in administration of compensation programs and annual compensation reviews. Conducts market analyses and internal equity reviews to support compensation decisions. Maintains job descriptions and position classifications. Employee Engagement/Special Programs Conducts employee surveys, census, and other research and demographic efforts as required. Provides direction and accountability for UGC Internship Program. Develops and supports employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and retention initiatives. Supports in the preparation of HR related materials, including KPI analysis for BOD presentations. Supports investigations, coaching conversations, performance issues, and policy interpretation in conjunction with VP HR and Sr. HR Partner. Assists in other areas of Human Resources as needed.  QualificationsRequired Education, Skills & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources is preferred but equivalent work experience and education will be considered. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources. Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools. Possesses strong analytical abilities, detail oriented, and problem-solving techniques. Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and can proficiently prioritize daily job duties and deadlines independently. Must be able to express or exchange ideas in English by means of the spoken word and written format. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment – both in proximity and practice. Demonstrated adaptability, sound judgment, and ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational responsibilities. Excellent communication verbally and in writing, including strong presentation skills. Will possess a high degree of self-awareness and be both detailed and strategic. Ability to travel periodically for recruiting events, training, and company meetings.
