Vancouver Clinic is seeking WA State credentialed MA-Phlebotomist at our Salmon Creek location who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and will require floating to various locations. As a professional representative of the laboratory, the phlebotomist plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. Primary responsibilities include performing venipuncture collection, handling and processing specimens, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes. A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential.

Location: Salmon Creek (2525 NE 139th St, Vancouver, WA 98686)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30a-5:30p

All schedules have rotating Saturday shifts (7:30a-12:00p) and Saturday differential ($2.50/hour)

Hiring Range: generally between $22.25–$27.45 per hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.

  • Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred.

  • Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions.
