Summary: The Paint Department Specialist ensures painters are setup to paint by prepping parts, and staging by colors. Ensures painted parts are delivered to assembly efficiently and quickly, by auditing the job for completeness, and delivering parts via forklift. Provide assistance to the department by stocking and maintaining paint supplies, booth maintenance, and departmental organization activities.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Auditing finished painted sections and staging by job for rapid delivery. Update FIFO board (MS Teams) - 25% Prepping parts for painters: Hanging correctly, removing grit and roughing parts as needed. Ensuring jobs are racked together by color and ready for the painters. 25% Delivering parts to assembly 25% Performing assembly work on CMS parts by installing feet, brackets and other detail oriented work. 10% Put away paint, assist in changing floors and filters in any booth that needs it. 10% Backfill blast as needed. Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clocking on and off work orders to maintain accurate records of labor when prepping parts, or performing assembly work. Accurately maintain FIFO board (using excel and MS Teams) as well as sending emails to assembly regarding upcoming deliveries. Protect company assets by maintaining paint booths, and forklifts as well as our paint kitchen. Maintain inventory Clean racks periodically to remove built up paint. Be able to back up blast when the operator is out.   Knowledge, skills and/or abilities: ERP (M3-Infor Smart Office/Movex) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook) Blast Equipment Paint reclaimer Written & Oral Communication-Must be able to send emails   Intermediate Analytical Project/Process Management Forklift Able to independently develop & manage multiple projects, manage and interact effectively with diverse groups. Ability to provide a respectful work environment for others Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
