Job Description: Aircraft Parts Specialist聽

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the efficient 聽聽聽聽聽performance of warehousing operations including storage, security and 聽聽聽聽聽accountability of aircraft parts & materials.
  • Responsible for the movement 聽聽聽聽聽of repairable materials out to/return from repair vendors and company 聽聽聽聽聽shops.
  • Performs all Shipping & 聽聽聽聽聽Receiving functions to include ensuring timely and accurate receipt of 聽聽聽聽聽inbound purchases and repairs.
  • Responsible for resolution 聽聽聽聽聽and reporting of any shipping or receiving problems to supervision.
  • Comply with procedures 聽聽聽聽聽related to safety and departmental standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining 聽聽聽聽聽accurate computerized inventory and handling vendor discrepancy 聽聽聽聽聽resolutions.
  • Ensures that Company 聽聽聽聽聽inventory and materials are properly accounted for and binned per industry 聽聽聽聽聽standards.聽
  • Performs parts buying and 聽聽聽聽聽ordering for quoting purposes to work orders as requested by production 聽聽聽聽聽departments finding lowest cost solutions and purchasing options.
  • Maintain and order consumable 聽聽聽聽聽inventory for all production departments.
  • Prepares materials needed for 聽聽聽聽聽daily maintenance readiness and redistribution.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance 聽聽聽聽聽with shipping, receiving, storing of hazardous materials, including 聽聽聽聽聽employee awareness and training requirements.
  • Working in hangar/stockroom, 聽聽聽聽聽subjected to noises due to proximity of airport runways.
  • Perform monthly/ quarterly inventory 聽聽聽聽聽cycle counts.
  • Establishment of reorder 聽聽聽聽聽thresholds
  • Responsible for quoting and 聽聽聽聽聽procuring parts and materials at the lowest price possible.
  • Establishing new and maintaining existing vendor 聽聽聽聽聽relationships.
  • On time availability of parts and materials to 聽聽聽聽聽coincide with maintenance/avionics scheduling.
  • Review of work orders to ensure all parts are 聽聽聽聽聽issued.聽
  • Tracking of loaners and core returns to ensure 聽聽聽聽聽timely return to vendor.
  • Procurement of necessary tools, equipment and/or 聽聽聽聽聽materials not owned by Premier Aviation Services via loan, lease, or 聽聽聽聽聽rental as needed.
  • Initiating 聽聽聽聽聽purchase orders for stock as required.
  • Understanding the information in the latest edition of AC 聽聽聽聽聽20-62 Eligibility, Quality and Identification of Aeronautical Replacement 聽聽聽聽聽Parts.

路 Must be available to work AOG on call events on some nights/weekends

Requirements

Qualifications:

Must be able to read & write English fluently to meet FAA Regulations.

1 or 2 years of line service experience preferred

High school diploma or GED,

Must be able to pass a drug test and 10-year background check.

Must possess a valid state driver鈥檚 license with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.

Moderate to heavy physical exertion to fuel aircraft and handle baggage.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
