Job DetailsJob Location: Vandalia Correctional Center - Vandalia, IL 62471Position Type: Full-TimeEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDJob Shift: EveningJob Category: Nursing Professional & SupportCenturion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full- time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vandalia Correctional Center in Vandalia, Illinois.  Hourly pay rate of $35/hour  Shift: 3P-11P; 5 days a week; Every other weekend, and every other Tuesday\Friday is off.  The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Qualifications•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required  •    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required  •    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)  •    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check INDMHM
