Position Summary
2nd Shift: 3PM - 11PM
This position receives a $1.50 shift differential for working 2nd shift!

The Operator is responsible for safely operating multiple pieces of equipment on a liquid filling production line. This role supports production through equipment setup and changeovers, preventive maintenance, quality verification, accurate documentation, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. The Operator plays a key role in ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence.Â
Responsibilities
Ability to understand and speak to production flow, processes, and metrics. Â
Set up, change over, and monitor equipment. Â
Involved in preventive maintenance (PMs) for assigned equipment. Â
Ensure the line is adequately supplied to meet production KPI's (Key Performance Indicators). Â
Maintain work areas and tools according to Visual Management (identifying abnormalities) and 5S Standards. Â
Maintain all required records. Â
Participate with safety, cost, quality, and productivity improvement teams. Â
Understand safety requirements (Job Safety Analysis, lock-out/tag-out, pinch points, PPE). Â
Understanding and conducting quality checks via measuring techniques/standards. Â
Able to follow written/visual instructions including Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work Â
Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and verbalize equipment issues to the line lead and/or maintenance.   Â
Lean Manufacturing - assist in the continuous improvement culture and seek opportunities to eliminate waste. Â
Occasional training of other colleagues. Â
Other duties as assigned due to business needs.Â
We we are looking for
High School Diploma or GED OR 0–2 years of manufacturing or mechanical experience.Â
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.Â
Good verbal and written communication skills, including use of two‑way radios.Â
Ability to follow, apply, and improve standard work procedures.Â
Problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills.Â
Attention to detail and the ability to meet critical deadlines.Â
Basic computer skills for production reporting and machine monitoring.Â
TPM/Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.Â
SAP experience is strongly preferred.
- Â Ability to lift up to 60 lbs; push and pull up to 40 lbs.Â
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Â
Frequent bending, reaching, stretching, twisting, climbing, pulling, pushing, and lifting.Â
Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.Â

Total Rewards Package
The pay rate for this position is up to USD $22.10/Hr. per hour
