Swedish Hill Winery 

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Cellar Assistant to join our winemaking team! This is a hands-on opportunity to be part of the winemaking process from grape to finished wine. The Cellar Assistant will work closely with the cellar and winemaking teams, helping with day-to-day cellar operations including cleaning and sanitation, wine movements, equipment setup, harvest activities, and other tasks that keep the cellar running smoothly.

No two days in the cellar are exactly alike, and this role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work and wants to learn more about the craft of winemaking. We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, team-oriented, safety-conscious, and excited to get their hands dirty and be part of a collaborative winery environment.

Essential Job Functions: 
Duties: Performs general cellar duties, including but not limited to:
  • Assists the winemaking team in daily activities by completing detailed work orders
  • Works on the bottling line in an operating and quality assurance capacity
  • Performs winemaking tasks according to standard operating procedures with thoughtful attention to detail that enhances wine quality
  • Follows work orders accurately
  • Maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation of winery equipment, vessels, and the facility



Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
  • Willing to work alone or part of a team
  • Aptitude to operate all equipment associated with the production of wine

  • Required to work at heights and in small spaces 

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate's degree, or relevant experience 
Certificates and licenses:
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Forklift certification
