We’re seeking an experienced Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership within a busy Main Operating Room. This is an excellent opportunity for a perioperative nursing professional who enjoys leading teams, coordinating surgical operations, and delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily Main OR operations and patient flow
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
- Ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor staff and support professional development
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Promote compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active California RN License
- BLS – AHA
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
- 2+ years of recent Peri-Anesthesia RN experience
- Acute care hospital experience
- Operating Room/Perioperative nursing experience
- RN leadership experience
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire
Preferred
- Charge Nurse experience
- Main Operating Room experience
- Perioperative Services leadership
- EMR experience
- Staff mentoring and quality improvement experience
