SureBuilt Construction is seeking a highly experienced Project Director – Construction Delivery to provide operational leadership across the company’s construction activities, including major capital projects and the SW division responsible for renovations and minor works.
The Project Director will be responsible for the successful execution of construction projects from mobilization through completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved technical standards, programme requirements, and company procedures.
This role provides oversight of construction operations across multiple projects and leads construction management teams responsible for site delivery.
The Project Director reports to the Chief Construction & Development Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership and oversight of construction delivery across all active projects.
- Lead and manage construction execution from project mobilization through practical completion and handover.
- Oversee operational performance of the SW division, ensuring renovation and minor works projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
- Provide leadership and direction to Senior Construction Managers, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Site Superintendents, Foremen, Quantity Surveyors, and site personnel.
- Establish and maintain company-wide standards for construction execution, quality assurance, and site safety.
- Monitor project progress, construction sequencing, productivity, and subcontractor performance across projects.
- Identify construction risks, technical issues, and programme delays and implement corrective strategies where required.
- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide operational reporting to executive leadership regarding project progress, delivery risks, and construction performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and extensive industry experience.
- Minimum 15 years of construction industry experience, including 10 years in senior construction or project management roles.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale construction projects and managing multiple construction teams and project sites.
- Proven leadership of Construction Managers, Project Managers, Site Superintendents, Foremen, and site personnel.
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, project sequencing, quality assurance processes, and construction safety compliance.
- Professional membership or certification such as RICS, CIOB, ICE or PMP is an asset.
Salary range: KYD 100,000.00 to KYD 135,000.00 per annum + bonus eligibility.
