Overview:
Matrix Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality in-home care to patients in the Venice area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent evening hours during the week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to patients in their home
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support mobility and ensure patient safety
- Assist with light housekeeping related to patient care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans and report any changes in patient condition
Requirements
Requirements:
- Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (Florida)
- Minimum 6 months of home care experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work consistently Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Under Florida law, this role is subject to background screening per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, including fingerprinting and review for eligibility before employment.
