Job Summary
This role manages the scope, risk, and delivery of system changes by coordinating with the Cloud Change Control Board (CCB). The coordinator ensures that all Change Requests (CR) are reviewed, implemented, and tested without adversely impacting business processes or security.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Responsibilities
- Work in coordination with the Cloud Change Control Board (CCB) to review Change Requests (CR) to ensure they do not negatively impact business processes or security posture.
- Maintain the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) CSM ticketing tool for change release in HPE Service Manager (HPESM).
- Implement accepted Change Requests and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm requirements are met before formal closure.
- Coordinate with internal and external agencies to support NAVFAC CSM needs.
- Assist in addressing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical tickets to resolve environment issues and conduct problem risk analysis.
Basic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Current DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 2–4 years of cloud engineering experience
- Strong project management skills, specifically in evaluating and managing risk
- Experience managing contractual deliverables and project schedules
- Familiarity with UAT processes and change control governance
- Expertise in Azure administration and cloud architecture
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps toolchains
- Security+ certification
- If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate)
- Experience implementing DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) configurations.
- Support compliance DoD SRG (Security Requirements Guide) and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) SP 800-53 (Special Publication 800-53) security controls
