Description

The C-Store Stocker ensures consumers have access to merchandise by organizing product displays and storage. Duties include counting inventory, adding price tags, putting products on shelves, keeping the work are clean and receiving inventory. Work area could be indoors and outdoors such as gas pumps. 

Requirements

  • Proceeds to assigned area and follows daily assignment sheet.
  • Manage and maintain the storage conditions of goods received in convenience store.
  • Coordinate retail space activities.
  • Stock the shelves with inventory.
  • Receive merchandise that comes into convenience store and ensure that the merchandise is unloaded and stored according to the established procedure.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty ash trays and trash cans as needed.
  • Clean and maintain outside areas of the convenience store including (but not limited to) parking lot, outside trash, doors gas pumps and assist with snow removal. 
  • Follow detailed instructions delivered by management. 
  • Observe safety policies and procedures including but not limited to safe lifting, proper chemical storage and usage, and posting correct signage.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask.
  • Able to work independently while maintaining scheduling.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store and enhance appearance of the store by adopting the most appropriate display techniques.
