GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The 2nd shift supervisor will manage all aspects of MASABA鈥檚 manufacturing operations. These areas are defined as all production

departments, assembly, welding, paint, and fabrication.

The 2nd shift supervisor must possess the following:

路 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

路 Ensure safe operating practices and procedures are in place and adhered to.

路 Ensure individuals working have proper safety equipment and personal protective equipment to perform their work safely.

路 Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

路 Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.

路 Solid understanding of overall quality and ensuring adherence to Masaba鈥檚 quality management system.



JOB DUTIES

- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in their respective departments.

- Oversees the daily workflows of all departments.

- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations

- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

- Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in shift operations.

- Facilitates maintenance and repairs to equipment.

- Works with VP of operations and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for cost

reduction.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

- General understanding and support of lean/continuous improvement across the shift.


WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process flow, scheduling and people management.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

- Working knowledge of MRP / ERP methodology

- Decisive and confident management style with a proven ability to bring about intra-departmental cooperation and

success

5:00 PM - 4:00 AM
Some additional Fridays may be mandatory
