GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Manager will report to the VP of Operations and will lead and manage all aspects of MASABA鈥檚 metals manufacturing
process to surpass customer expectations. The Production Manager will manage the people, processes and the output of the following
departments: Programming, Routing, Cutting, Bending, Drilling, Machining, Rolling, Material Handling, Packaging, Shipping and
Scheduling. The Production Manager will develop, measure and report key metrics regarding production output, efficiency, scheduling
accuracy, quality, safety, labor utilization and scrap. The Production Manager will also be responsible for continuous improvement
activities and overall process improvements.
Production Manager key objectives:
路 Ensure safety operating procedures and best practices are in place and are adhered to.
路 Verify quality checks are executed and quality of parts produced conform to the drawings and defined standards.
路 Analyze and communicate best practice work procedures for maximum efficiency and to identify and mitigate any hazards
路 Hire, counsel and terminate personnel as required in concert with HR department and all applicable US laws

JOB DUTIES
- Plan, schedule resources and supervise the production process
- Oversee facility operations and maintenance to ensure compliance with applicable operating and safety standards & regulations
- Develop / refine performance measures
- Supervise and document individual performance of team leaders and support staff
- Develop and implement approved operating plans
- Identify and mitigate process inefficiencies to improve cost, quality and delivery
- Drive premium quality in all components produced
- Ensure employees follow all applicable safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.
- Ensure work orders are processed accurately through MRP system.
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse and cross-functional team
- Must be flexible, adaptable, open to change, willing to take on challenges and a team player.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work standing on hard surface (e.g. concrete) for long periods of time in hot or cold environment.
- Must be able to read and interpret basic blueprints.
- Must be able to perform basic shop math functions and use standard measuring devices.
- Other duties as assigned.
