GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for managing facility repairs and maintenance (performing major and minor repairs of all buildings)
- Ensures a clean and safe environment and can perform routine safety checks on equipment, devices and tools
- Performs routine/preventative maintenance on facility equipment (compressors, blast, paint, scales, cranes, FLT’s, Loaders, etc.)
- Documenting/tracking of maintenance on facility equipment (compressors, loaders, forklifts, etc.)
- Ability to perform minor electrical repairs and maintenance on building and equipment
- Ability to perform HVAC and plumbing repairs and maintenance on building and equipment
- Wage is negotiable and DOE/Q.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical experience or a combination of formal training and hands-on experience
- Flexible, adaptable and works well within a team environment
- Self-motivated, self-driven
- Knows how to use hand tools and power tools
- Good trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work standing on hard surface (e.g. concrete) for up to 12 hours per day in hot or cold environment.
- Good hand and eye coordination.
- Good visual acuity.
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch or stoop to perform various functions of this position.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms and able to lift &/or move 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to read and speak English.
- Ability to understand basic math and measurements.
- Additional hours may be required outside of normal business hours or as set forth by the demands of the position; ability to work one weekend day per month for preventative maintenance purposes.

6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
