Planning Technician I or II

Deliver comprehensive administrative support for Community Development, driving operational efficiency across planning, zoning, and building divisions. Responsibilities span managing front-desk relations, handling sensitive correspondence, and coordinating logistics, agendas, and public notices for municipal boards and commissions. Additionally, oversees the end-to-end permit and business licensing process, including fee collection, application verification, regulatory guidance, and revenue processing.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and specialized training in administrative, drafting, or word processing functions. We're looking for one to two years of solid experience in roles such as secretarial work, drafting, or word processing. An equivalent combination of education and experience is also welcome. Demonstrating keyboarding proficiency is essential.

This full-time position offers $20.35 an hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
