Job DetailsJob Location: Mountain Creek - Vernon, NJ 07462Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 Hourly  Buildings and Grounds Technician L2 – Mountain Creek Location: Vernon, NJ         Reporting to: Mountain Operations   SNOW Partners Mission Statement:     “To Enhance the Lives of our Team, Guests and Partners by Building Lasting Connections.”   About Mountain Creek:    Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants and lodge.   How the Buildings and Grounds Technician works with the Team:    Responsible for day-to-day general maintenance of the resort, including but not limited to plumbing, electric, carpentry, and troubleshooting all systems.   Team Member Responsibilities:    Perform day to day general maintenance and repairs. (plumbing, electric, carpentry) Maintain a safe working environment and practice a safe work philosophy Work in all types of weather when needed Work efficiently to accomplish department goals  Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems Troubleshooting pumps and motors Adheres to all safety regulations, local, state and federal codes Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs on an occasional basis Be available for after hours contact in the event of facility-oriented emergency Be able to interact with other departments to accomplish resort objectives Complete projects without direct supervision Fix or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers. Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices like multimeters and voltmeters.    Experience climbing telephone poles helpful Make recommendations to address structural maintenance issues         Qualifications  Team Member Qualifications:      High School diploma required Must have valid driver license Be able to read and interpret instructions and manuals Trade school or 5 years work experience in the field Be able to work flexible schedule and overtime when needed Must be 18 or older
