Salary

This position has a base salary range of $54,400 to $81,600 USD Annual. This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience and time in the role.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Lead welcoming, high-impact orientation sessions that introduce new hires to BCU’s mission, values, and member-focused culture. Prepare materials, coordinate logistics, and serve as one of the first friendly faces new employees meet.
  2. Provide a warm handoff to managers and department teams and maintain ongoing touchpoints with new employees throughout their onboarding journey to foster engagement, answer questions, and support a successful transition.
  3. Support initiatives that strengthen BCU’s culture of care, collaboration, inclusion, and community.
  4. Partner closely with the Brand and Communications team to deliver engagement programs, recognition efforts, and internal communications that reinforce BCU’s B-You ethos and shared values.
  5. Plan and execute celebrations, team events, volunteer activities, and culture-building experiences. Manage logistics, vendors, budgets, and creative details that make BCU gatherings meaningful and memorable.
  6. Partner with recruiters to identify and source talent aligned with BCU’s values. Screen resumes and support early-stage candidate evaluation and outreach.
  7. Manage interview logistics with precision and warmth, ensuring candidates have a seamless, timely, and well-communicated experience.
  8. Serve as a welcoming, professional point of contact for candidates. Represent BCU’s people-first culture through every interaction, helping candidates feel valued and inspired by the opportunity to join our team.
  9. Champion BCU’s mission and employee experience from application through onboarding. Communicate the organization’s values, growth opportunities, and member-centric purpose in a way that resonates with candidates and new hires.
  10. Provide administrative and operational support for Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition initiatives.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5 years of business experience with 1-3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, event coordination, office administration, hospitality, communications, or other people-focused roles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, including calendar management and meeting scheduling.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Highly tech-savvy with experience setting up and troubleshooting conference room AV equipment, video conferencing technology, and technical issues in both in-person and virtual training environments.
  • Responds to changing priorities and unexpected challenges with flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Creative, with a passion for designing experiences that attract, engage, and inspire people.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to and engaging audiences with diverse backgrounds, experience levels, and professional roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Event planning or coordination experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
  • High level of professionalism, warmth, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional candidate and employee experiences.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and build a career in Human Resources, Employee Experience, or Talent Acquisition.
