Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys building high-performing teams? Archer Meat Snacks, the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations at our Vernon facility.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in maximizing equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and supporting production through proactive maintenance strategies. You'll partner closely with Plant Leadership and cross-functional teams to reduce downtime, improve operational efficiency, and build a culture centered on safety, accountability, and teamwork.

What You'll Own & Impact:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of maintenance technicians through coaching, hiring, training, and performance management
  • Driving preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and ensure maintenance compliance across the facility
  • Partnering with Plant Leadership to improve machine performance, increase operational efficiency, and reduce equipment downtime
  • Leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and plant performance
  • Monitoring equipment performance, preventative maintenance schedules, machine uptime, and maintenance KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with Production, Quality, and cross-functional teams to support daily operations and maximize equipment effectiveness
  • Leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions to improve long-term equipment reliability
  • Utilizing maintenance data to improve run speeds, minimize changeover downtime, and increase overall production efficiency
  • Building strong relationships with frontline employees while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

What Sets You Apart:

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience within a food manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with experience supporting industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Experience leading preventative maintenance programs and driving equipment reliability initiatives
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong leadership experience hiring, coaching, developing, and managing maintenance teams
  • Ability to analyze equipment performance data and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Associate degree, trade school certification, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish is needed
