Location Description
The Meadville, Pennsylvania facility is 135,000 square feet and home to about 290 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Rachael Ray® Nutrish®. Located along the banks of French Creek in Northwestern Pennsylvania and 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Meadville is home to more than 13,000 full time residents and 2,000 Allegheny College students. Meadville is an active center for business, industry, education, the arts, recreation, service and tourism. Conneaut Lake, Pymatuning State Park and the Erie National Wildlife Refuge are wonderful places to appreciate the area's natural beauty.Â

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Own product deployment and inventory replenishment activities to ensure finished goods are available to meet customer demand.
- Develop and manage production schedules, capacity plans, and inventory control processes for the Meadville facility.
- Build weekly and monthly production plans while supporting longer-term planning initiatives.
- Analyze inventory levels and replenishment requirements to balance service expectations with supply chain costs.
- Allocate available production to distribution centers and support customer orders, intercompany orders, forecasts, and safety stock needs.
- Coordinate intercompany shipments and support cross-functional execution and cost objectives.
- Partner with Operations, Logistics, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Distribution teams to identify solutions, address risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
- Monitor inventory performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and help resolve inventory shortages or aging inventory issues.
- Support special projects, acquisitions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide planning analysis and insights that support operational and business objectives.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience with emphasis in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Operations, and/or Inventory Management.
- Knowledge and experience with MPS, MRP, capacity planning, deployment planning, and enterprise planning systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple functions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Project management experience or familiarity with project management principles.
- Experience identifying process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
- Understanding end-to-end supply chain processes and how decisions impact operations.
- Applying logical thinking and sound judgment to complex planning scenarios.
- Using data and analytics to make informed decisions.
- Thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
