Position Summary
Tender Hands LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality, person-centered care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate is committed to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life while assisting clients with daily living activities in a respectful and professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Mobility and transfers
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping, including:
- Laundry
- Dishwashing
- Vacuuming
- Changing bed linens
- General tidying of the client's living area
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations and company policy).
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, or mental condition.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Follow individualized care plans and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect client privacy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and report incidents immediately.
Qualifications
Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with client care.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Ability to pass required background checks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Current CNA certification in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification (preferred).
- Minimum of one year of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to safely assist clients with transfers and mobility.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Ability to pass required background checks.

Schedule
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Overnight shifts
- Weekends as needed
- Holidays as needed
