As an MIT you will:聽

Ensures and provides open and honest communication that encourages that all team members do not place themselves, donors or customers in harm鈥檚 way

2. 聽 聽 聽Communicates and supports Goodwill鈥檚 drug-free workplace, strives for and maintains a positive work environment following Goodwill鈥檚 Core Values and Guiding Principles

3. 聽 聽 聽Understands represents Goodwill鈥檚 zero tolerance for harassment, substance abuse, workplace violence, failure to report medical incidents (work or non-work related), and theft or other related offenses

4. 聽 聽 聽Ensures 100% world-class customer service. 聽

5. 聽 聽 聽Hires, trains, develops, supervises, and evaluates team members within the framework of Goodwill policies and procedures and job descriptions.聽

6. 聽 聽 聽Develops, trains, and supervises Assistant Team Leaders (ATLs), GGC Key Holders and Front-End Key Holders, ensuring they are able to perform any of the duties and responsibilities outlined in their position description on a regular or intermittent basis with the goal of preparing then for future advancement. 聽

7. 聽 聽 聽Operates the GGC within budgeted expense to revenue ratios and donor value.聽

8. 聽 聽 聽Ensures good stewardship of all donations, through proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the GGC in accordance with Goodwill policies and procedures. 聽

9. 聽 聽 聽Schedules/maintains labor and payroll in accordance with Goodwill policies and procedures.

10. 聽 聽Responsible for image, maintenance, loss prevention, safety, and security of the GGC in accordance with GIMI policies and procedures.

11. 聽 聽Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies and all other Goodwill property in a secure manner in accordance with established budget and practices.聽

12. 聽 聽Is responsible for:

路Cash handling

路Monthly Safety Site Inspection

路聽Incident/Accident reports

路Petty Cash and Expense Reports

路Purchase and supply orders

路Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Reports and analysis

路Team Meeting Minutes

路New Goods Inventory聽

路Weekly Scheduler with two weeks scheduled for all team members

路WESA Reports completed in an accurate and timely manner

路Work requests (Facility Maintenance and Information Support)

13. 聽 聽Maintains compliance with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facility (CARF) standards.

14. 聽 聽Keeps informed of product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing through comparative shopping of competitors (e.g., full or discount retail, consignment, and second-hand thrift.)聽

15. 聽 聽Performs assigned duties within the framework of our Guiding Principles and Core Values.

16. 聽 聽Attends in-service and related training as assigned by Operations Leadership.聽

17. 聽 聽May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.聽

18. 聽 聽Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Leadership.聽

THE QUALIFICATIONS:聽

  • 路Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience in a business (retail) setting preferred.
  • Associate鈥檚 Degree in business or related field preferred. 聽
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:聽

  • MITs are required to be available for opening the store a minimum of two times per week, with a mandatory obligation to open at least once per week. Additionally, they must be available to close the store at least twice per week, with a requirement to do so at least once per week. Consequently, this ensures that each TLC will be responsible for both opening and closing the store on at least two separate days each week.
  • 路MITs are expected to approve payroll each payroll Monday, and work a minimum of two Saturdays per month
  • 路Must have a reliable means of transportation
