Job Title: Full-Time Physical Therapist

Location:  Vero Orthopaedics, Vero Beach, Florida

Work Schedule:  Full-time, Monday through Friday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team full-time. The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art facility, providing comprehensive rehabilitative services to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and helping patients achieve their functional goals.

 

Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.

 

Licensure: Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist license.

 

Experience: Preferably 2+ years of experience in orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy settings.

 

Skills:

  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses, goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and strategies to enhance recovery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed on advancements in physical therapy techniques and integrate them into patient care as appropriate.
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, adhering to all clinic policies and procedures.
