Job Title: Cut off Saw Operator Pouring

Position Classification: Non-Exempt - Hourly

Job Summary:

The Saw Operator Pouring will slice bun blocks according to customer specifications in a cost-efficient manner.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Education & Experience:

Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • At the beginning of each shift, receive work orders from supervisor.
  • Ensure the saw is operating correctly during the cutting of newly poured foam buns.
  • Program/check band saw with the correct size according to the customer specifications.
  • Turn on band saw machine and begin the cutting of the product.
  • Label and stencil needed information on each block cut as it moves down the pouring tunnel.
  • Clean pouring trough.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in production area.
  • Practice proper safety techniques.
  • Follow all procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform various manual duties to assist in the pouring department.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Good mechanical aptitude
