What You Will Be Doing:
- Load material for internal and external customers, ensuring accurate orders.
- Assist with unloading shipments and pulling product for orders.
- Operate equipment including trucks, tractors, forklifts, bobcats, and skid steer loaders.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, coworkers, and sales staff.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions.
- Stand, walk, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and lift objects frequently.
- Consistently lift heavy loads weighing 50 pounds or more.
Schedule:
- Full-time Seasonal with typical Monday through Friday hours during peak season (April to November) and every other weekend rotation.
- Overtime may be required as workload dictates.
Skills Required:
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- 1-2 years of Warehouse or Material Handling experience preferred.
- Ability or willingness to learn basic pruning skills and knowledge of plants
- Ability or willingness to learn to operate various equipment.
