Job Description:Â
MMR is seeking Project Engineer candidates with a degree in Construction Management or industry related equivalent. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:Â
Assist with organization, planning, scheduling, and subcontractor scheduling of the projectÂ
Handle day to day issues with meeting deadlines within budget Â
Assist with developing job tracking systems including schedule, productivity, and costÂ
Maintaining and updating tracking systems, schedules, cost reportsÂ
Identifying and submitting RFI’s Â
Participate in weekly client update meetingsÂ
Prepare and submit weekly client update reportsÂ
Preparing and submitting change orders Â
Coordinating with site supervision to build work packagesÂ
Prepare and submit client invoicesÂ
Maintaining RFI log, change order log, invoice log, restraint log, drawing log, equipment log, material logÂ
Updating schedule of values and preparing client invoicesÂ
Field material and equipment purchasing as requiredÂ
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as needed to align with the overall business objectives of the organizationÂ
Required Skills and Qualifications:Â
BS in Construction Management or related fieldÂ
At least 3-5 years relevant work experienceÂ
Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred Â
Experience in industrial construction is preferredÂ
Must have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasingÂ
Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications  Â
Working knowledge of MS Office softwareÂ
Experience with Primavera P6 preferredÂ
Ability to read and understand a CPM schedule and identify critical pathsÂ
Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervisionÂ
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Â
Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadlineÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as neededÂ
Regular and reliable attendance at workÂ
