Job Overview
Vision Chevrolet is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and optimize dealership performance. This leadership role focuses on driving sales volume, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be a "crafty" problem-solver who prioritizes training and active engagement with both staff and customers.Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Training: Lead, mentor, and train the sales staff to ensure they are meeting their "score card" objectives and holding themselves accountable.
- Product Endorsement: Ensure all sales consultants are consistently pitching and endorsing additional products (e.g., Lojack, bundles) during every customer interaction, including leases, new car sales, and trade-ins.
- Customer Engagement: Maintain a high level of involvement in the sales process to provide solutions and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Operational Management: Proactively manage inventory, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with other departments to resolve communication issues and streamline delivery processes.
- Strategic Growth: Implement and manage new pay plans and longevity bonus structures to motivate the team and turn store performance around.
- Marketing Support: Encourage and ensure all staff members are actively sharing social media posts, specifically for fresh trade advertisements, to drive dealership visibility.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in automotive sales management or a senior finance/sales role within a dealership environment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team while maintaining a professional and positive work environment.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of automotive products, financing options, and the ability to train others on these details.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on resolving internal and external conflicts professionally.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dealership management systems and the ability to leverage data to track team performance.
