POSITION TITLE: Project Manager I, II, III, Sr.
SHIFT HOURS: 8:00am to 5:00pm (days)
LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY
SALARY PAY RANGE: $100,000yr to $135,000yr
JOB SUMMARY: Ensure the proper execution of projects through control of deliverables and timelines. Manages projects and initiatives in support of new product & systems development, design enhancements, and manufacturing improvements. Utilizes best-practice project management tools and techniques to ensure projects meet technical scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Is ultimately responsible for the technical advancement and timely progression of projects and programs as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Project Manager I
- Provide Support for initiating, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and managerial aspects of engineering projects with supervision of smaller scope projects.
- Manage with supervision the cross-functional team members across all disciplines
- Effectively communicate project status, technical hurdles, and solution paths to stakeholders.
- Utilize sound decision-making to guide project teams.
- Use Project Management tools to drive project performance.
- Prepare presentations and conducts project review meetings, including Phase Gate reviews; serves as communication conduit to management and executive staff.
- Responsible for the appropriate record keeping of project outputs in accordance with ISO 13485, MDSAP, EU MDR, 21 CFR 820, LSI Procedures, and other applicable standards.
Project Manager II

- Responsible for initiating, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and managerial aspects of engineering projects with limited supervision and able manage moderate projects.
- Manage with limited supervision the cross-functional team members across all disciplines.
Project Manager III

- Responsible for initiating, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and managerial aspects of engineering projects with no supervision and able manage complex projects.
- Manage with no supervision the cross-functional team members across all disciplines.
Senior Project Manager
- All essential functions listed above.
- Responsible for initiating, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and managerial aspects of large and complex engineering projects
- Able to coach and mentor others team members.
- Independently manage cross-functional team members across all disciplines.
- Lead coordinate with all functional Managers and leaders to escalate roadblock or issues and ensure appropriate resources are available for successful project completion.
- Working with PMO manager to help develop, utilize and provide feedback on internal Project Management tools to drive project performance.
- Coach and provide mentorship to the project leaders and Project Managers assigned by the PMO.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and other technical aspects of product development.
- Exercise sound engineering judgement to guide direction of technical initiatives.
- Provide input to administrative supervisors to support employee development and performance reviews.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Project Manager I
- Bachelor’s degree required; bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience in a product development environment is required; experience managing technical projects is preferred.
- Capability to achieve PMI CAPM certification.
Project Manager II
- Bachelor’s degree required; bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of product development experience required; medical device experience preferred.
- 2+ years of project management leadership experience.
- Experience leading sustaining engineering projects from inception through execution resulting in a successful conclusion.
- PMI CAPM certification or equivalent.
Project Manager III
- Bachelor’s degree required; bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- 6+ years of product development experience required; medical device experience preferred.
- 5+ years of project management leadership experience.
- PMI PMP certification or equivalent.
- Experience leading sustaining engineering projects from inception through execution resulting in a successful conclusion.
- Experience in understanding of full product development lifecycle.
Senior Project Manager
- Bachelor’s degree required; bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- 10+ years of product development experience required; medical device experience preferred.
- 9+ years of project management leadership experience.
- PMI PMP certification or equivalent.
- Experience leading and managing new product development programs / projects from inception through execution resulting in a successful conclusion.
Experience in understanding of full product development lifecycle.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Project Manager I
- Knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) or ability to obtain training or certification in PMBOK.
- Have ability to present information to a variety of audiences including management, customers, vendors, engineers, etc.
- Proficiency in standard MS-Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.
- Proficiency in MS-Project.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical presentations
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking process.
Project Manager II
- All the Knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with experience effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Project Manager III
- All the knowledge, skills & abilities listed above.
- Knowledge of industry accepted Project Management methodologies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Advance Proficiency in MS Project.
Senior Project Manager
- All the knowledge, skills & abilities listed above.
- Ability to work independently.
- Capability and motivation to lead & influence, support morale, provide focus, help the team manage ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
