Welder

Job Description:    

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate pressure vessels.    

Basic hand tool use     

Set up and weld parts using welding equipment.    

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.    

Rework and/or repair welded structures according to engineering specification changes.    

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.    

Maintain a clean and safe work area.    

 Pass a 6G pipe 2inch double X pipe welding test with GMAW and FCAW    

Use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.    

High attention to detail and self-motivation skills    

Work and communicate well with others.    

Comply with all TEJAS Company and HSE policies and procedures.    

Preferred Experience:    

2 years welding experience    

Physical Strain:    

Be able to wear all required PPE.    

Subject to climbing/squatting/bending/kneeling    

Heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time.
