Craftsman / Handyman – Commercial (Columbus Area)

Ace Handyman Services – Columbus is hiring a commercial multi-skilled Craftsman to join our growing team. This role focuses on our commercial projects — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently.

This is not new construction — our work focuses on repairs, maintenance, and small remodeling jobs across multiple trades.

What We Offer

Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) — No weekends
- Some earlier start times (4:00 AM - 6:00 AM)

What You’ll Do

Complete a variety of commercial repairs
Handle punch lists, troubleshooting, and on-site problem solving
Perform work such as:
- Carpentry and trim work
- Drywall repair and patching
- Basic plumbing and electrical fixes
- Tile and fixture installation
- Door and hardware adjustments
Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Identify additional work opportunities and build customer trust

Well-rounded, commercial multi-trade experience (not just one specialty)
Ability to work independently and manage jobs from start to finish
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Professional communication and customer service mindset
Organized, presentable, and detail-oriented
Valid driver’s license

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.

Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.
