Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Computer Software/ Integration Analyst to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Implements computer systems in a phased approach of requirements analysis and conceptual design, site survey, system design review, critical design review, installation, integration, and testing. Performs requirements analysis for a wide range of users in areas of office automation. Presents system designs for user approval at formal reviews. Performs configuration management, integrating software, interpreting software test results, and recommends solutions for unsatisfactory test results. Provides solutions to identified software problem reports.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

  • Knowledge of systems engineering and software development life-cycle methodologies, including requirements analysis, conceptual design, system design reviews, critical design reviews, installation, integration, and testing.
  • Knowledge of office automation technologies and enterprise computer systems, with the ability to assess diverse user requirements and translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Skill in conducting requirements analysis and developing system designs, including documenting functional and technical requirements and presenting proposed solutions for user and stakeholder approval.
  • Skill in configuration management and systems integration, including maintaining system baselines, managing software and hardware configurations, coordinating changes, and ensuring system components operate effectively together.
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate software and system test results, identify deficiencies or unsatisfactory outcomes, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend appropriate corrective solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software problem reports, working collaboratively with users, developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify problems, implement solutions, and validate system performance.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
