Role and Responsibilities
- Perform Data Administration duties and functions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the Federal Data Administrator to improve operational efficiency by overseeing data collection, processing, and dissemination processes.
- Manage aviation-specific datasets, including but not limited to: Foreign Traffic, Foreign Origin and Destination and Financial data sets. Validate processes for data collection and modeling to
- ensure accuracy following standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Federal Database Administrators to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of documented activity for continual improvement.
- Work with Federal Data Administrators to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of documented activity for continuous improvement, as well as expert guidance on methodologies and data processing workflows, ensuring that aviation datasets meet the needs of policymakers, analysts, and operational stakeholders.
- Assist OAI Data Administrators with the administration and maintenance of aviation-related statistical databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with Federal Data Administrators to interact with airlines, customers, and maintenance technicians, and other aviation professionals to collect data and understand results.
- Train and support Federal Data Administrators and users on data usage and system functionality.
- Proactively identify and offer innovative ways to improve quality.
- Create and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of specialized experience with the relevant technical/ platform in addition to any required applicable training.
- Minimum Education/Experience: HS Diploma with 3 years of experience.
