The Office Assistant welcomes new and returning guests into the office. They are responsible for managing the front desk on a daily basis to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks; screening and forwarding incoming phone calls and emails, sorting mail/packages, assist in preparation of FedEx / messenger packages going out, housekeeping, and ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:
• Answer incoming calls to the main number prepared to pass along as much information as possible, forward any incoming calls/emails to the appropriate contacts.
• Welcome guests by asking them for the name/company and assure them that their point of contact has been notified, offer coffee or water while guests wait in the front reception area.
• Keep the front desk tidy and clutter free.
• Maintain kitchen area and ensure all supplies are kept fully stocked.
• Assist with the preparation of meetings; place settings, ice water, food delivery, etc.

Job Requirements:
- Provide administrative support across four data center sites (approximately one day per week at each location)
- Manage supply inventory, including restocking and organization
- Coordinate and place lunch orders for on-site teams
- Assist with planning small-scale team outings and events
- Organize and maintain trailers and on-site storage areas
- Conduct regular inventory assessments
- Perform weekly supply shopping (e.g., Costco, Office Depot)
- Track and submit expenses; spending is monitored and approved by management, with budgets set by the SPM
Qualifications:
- Minimum age: 21 years old
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid work authorization
- Entry-level role; however, candidates should have some prior life or work experience (not intended for recent graduates with no experience)
- 3–4 years of experience in administrative roles or fast-paced environments (e.g., restaurant or food service industry preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High energy, proactive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel between job sites in the Ashburn and Manassas areas
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle; gas and toll expenses will be reimbursed
- No college degree required
Work Environment:
- Dynamic, multi-site operations
- Combination of administrative tasks, coordination, and light logistics support
Education and Experience:
• Experience working in an office setting preferred
