We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher with Product Ownership experience to support a Medical Claims Evaluation platform used in regulated federal healthcare environments. 

 

This role combines hands-on UX research leadership with product ownership responsibilities, serving as a bridge between user needs, design execution, engineering delivery, and stakeholder priorities. 

 

You will not just research the product, you will help own the problem space, shape the roadmap, and guide decision-making from discovery through delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in UX Research, Human Factors, or related roles. 
  • Demonstrated experience operating as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or hybrid UX/PO role. 
  • Strong command of UX research methodologies and product discovery practices. 
  • Experience influencing roadmaps and delivery decisions through research. 
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and decision-making skills. 
  • Experience working in regulated or high-risk environments (healthcare, government, finance). 


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare, health IT, medical claims, or clinical decision support systems. 
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven workflows (e.g., HIPAA). 
  • Experience designing or researching systems where explainability and defensibility are required. 


Tools & Artifacts
  • Figma, FigJam, or similar collaboration tools 
  • UX research platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop) 
  • Documentation tools for research readouts and product artifacts
