Job Title: Hardware Parts Tester

Location: Melbourne, FL (Suntree area)

Shift: Mon to Fri from 8a to 5p

Pay: $25.00/hr

Required:
* A minimum of one-year experience evaluating physical electronic devices, circuit boards, and/or components to ensure they meet quality, reliability, and performance standards.
* Must live a commutable distance from our Melbourne, FL facility.  


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Execute Tests: Run functional, stress, and reliability tests on physical hardware components.

* Troubleshoot Defects: Identify hardware faults, perform root cause analysis, and document failures.

* Update & Program: Ability to update and program parts as needed.  

* Use Lab Equipment: Operate specialized tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.

* Document Results: Write clear test reports and maintain records of test plans and metrics.

 

Skills & Attributes

* Technical Knowledge: Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.

* Tool Proficiency: Experience with lab hardware and basic scripting or automation tools

* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose complex electronic or mechanical issues.

* Team-oriented personality.

* Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.

* Ability to work effectively during periods of high activity and with varying personality styles and tasks.

* Ability to maintain effectiveness during procedure/organization changes and when dealing with people of various styles or backgrounds.

* Ability to be a self-starter who manages time effectively and completes tasks efficiently without waiting for instructions.

* Aptitude to adapt oral/written communication style to fit different personalities.

* Ability to multi-task.

* Proven ability to operate under pressure.

* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

* Customer service skills
