RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Â
Duties include establishing contact with all witnesses involved on assigned cases and maintaining accurate contact information for them; advising victims and witnesses as to the status of a trial, placing them on standby and calling them off as necessary; tracking availability of witnesses to include law enforcement officers; arranging necessary transportation for witness court appearances; ability to explain the court system and courtroom procedures to individuals participating in court cases; process necessary forms such as witness reimbursement and travel vouchers; generate subpoenas; and document all communication and efforts in STAC. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, superior organizational skills, and a willingness to perform additional duties as requested.  Â

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Â
A high school diploma or equivalency and experience in the area of criminal justice, social science, counseling, public contact or customer service; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for required experience.

DESIRED SKILLS
Â
The candidate must have a working knowledge of STAC, the Clerk’s database, Imaging, Word and Outlook, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
