Pay Range: $28.04 - $42.06 (+$3.00 per hour travel premium)
Shop Schedule: M-F 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (Flexible schedule on field projects may include overtime, nights, weekends)
Minimum Qualifications:Â
Experience with machine shop equipment including 3 axis vertical mill, lathe, surface grinder, band sawÂ
Experience with CNC lathe programming, set-up, and operationsÂ
Understanding of G & M code programmingÂ
Ability to read blueprints and schematicsÂ
Willing to respond to off-hours problemsÂ
Ability to maintain shop equipmentÂ
Ability to work individually, and in a team environment to complete required tasksÂ
Must be able to travel up to 25%, sometimes on short notice as neededÂ
Willingness to learn field service tasks: drum repair, drum resurfacing, optical alignment, and machine installation and riggingÂ
Must have a valid driver’s license,agood drivingrecord, andhave the ability to obtain a passportÂ
Must be able to safely perform assigned tasks when in the field at elevated heights Â
Preferred Skills:Â Â
Welding experienceÂ
Knowledge of electrical, Pneumatic, hydraulic systems, Mastercam softwareÂ
Experience with Okuma machine toolsÂ
Internal Applicants:
Must not have disciplinary action Written or higher in last 120 days
Must have received 'Performer' or higher on last performance review
Must be in current position at least 120 days and cannot be on probation
Must not be on a Performance Improvement Plan
Key Responsibilities:Â
Set up, program, operate CNC controlled machineryÂ
Measure dimensions within tolerances for the fabrication of machine parts and equipment specificationsÂ
Familiarity with machine and equipment alignmentÂ
Familiar with different metal and steel types and their compatibility in different applications of machiningÂ
Promote Maintenance and Total Plant Safety Â
Maintain employee morale and promote active communication within the Department.Â
Provide technical knowledge to help troubleshoot production issuesÂ
