Starting Pay: $27.16 - $40.74 (depends on skills & experience)

Key Responsibilities: Â
Perform various welding techniques including Stick, MIG, and other welding processes on carbon steel and various metalsÂ
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate parts according to specificationsÂ
Design, fabricate, and maintain jigs and fixtures for production efficiencyÂ
Execute open and closed root welds using MIG and 6010/7018 rod welding techniquesÂ
Conduct quality inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet standards and specificationsÂ
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and shop machineryÂ
Perform field service tasks including drum repair, resurfacing, and machine installationÂ
Complete optical alignment procedures and equipment rigging operationsÂ
Travel to customer sites for on-site welding and repair work (up to 25% travel required)Â
Collaborate with team members and maintain effective communication across departmentsÂ
Maintain compliance with plant safety rules, safe operating procedures, and housekeeping standardsÂ
Â
 Education & Experience:    Â
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredÂ
D1.1 6010/7018 four position certificationÂ
Two-year technical training/apprenticeship plus three years maintenance experience a plusÂ
Â
Required Skills:Â
Must be able to pass structural welding certification for MIG and stick welding four position (AWS) open/closed root D1.1 6010/7018Â Â
Proficiency in E7018, E7014, and E7024 welding rodsÂ
Experience with MIG welding closed root using 0.035 in. diameter wire on carbon steelÂ
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprintsÂ
Valid driver's license with clean driving recordÂ
Ability to obtain a passportÂ
Basic mechanical skills and proper use of hand toolsÂ
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamÂ
Willingness to respond to off-hours callsÂ
Knowledge of pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems a plusÂ

Physical Demands:The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to:Â

Working at elevated heights when requiredÂ

Forklift certified or ability to get forklift certifiedÂ

An additional $2.50/hr. Premium between the hours of 7pm – 7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.Â

Travel Requirements: Travelis required in this position. Â
Work Conditions: At customer sites, the majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to:Â Â
