  • Assist nurses and medical assistants to ensure quality care and measures are provided to patients
  • Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, and use word processing, spreadsheet, or other software applications to prepare reports, letters, case histories, or medical records
  • Interview patients to complete documents, case histories, or forms, such as intake or insurance forms, PA’s, and denial appeals
  • Receive and route messages or documents, such as laboratory results, to appropriate staff or patients
  • Explain medications, diets, or providers' instructions to patients
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, or correspondence
  • Transmit correspondence or medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as scanning, scheduling, placing orders per the providers request, maintaining information files and processing paperwork, such as, sports physicals, health appraisals, FMLA, and disability forms
  • Entering, and maintaining information in written or electronic form related to patient care
  • Patient and bucket follow-up
  • Monthly completion of Eagle training
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) yeas of medical office/hospital setting experience
  • Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
