Direct Support Professional Assistant

What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional Assistant, you’ll be hands-on in helping individuals build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily lives—both at our facilities and out in the community.

Every day is different, but your impact is always powerful.

  • Support individuals with life skills training to promote independence and personal growth
  • Assist with daily routines, including personal care, hygiene, and wellness support
  • Help implement individualized plans and track progress through documentation and data collection
  • Provide compassionate care, including medication administration and basic medical support
  • Ensure safety by following risk, dining, wellness, and seizure plans
  • Encourage community involvement and help individuals engage in meaningful activities
  • Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including lifting and positioning when required
  • Support the use and care of adaptive equipment
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and confidential environment at all times
