Job Summary:
Central Processing Technician will be trained in processing, storing, and distributing medical and surgical supplies and equipment. Position open 2pm-1030pm
Essential Job Duties:

Professional Standards
- Follow manufacturers recommendations and instructions for use with regards to cleaning and sterilization (1 & 4).
- Follow all guidelines for quality assurance monitoring.
- Adhere to evidence-based best practices.
- Monitor and maintain the proper environment in the department including temperature, humidity and traffic control.
- Adhere to proper attire including PPE.
- Acquire and update professional education
- Works closely with surgery for changes in instrument sets and procedures and keeps instrument lists current.
- Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
- Takes responsibility for FTE hours, documentation, and maintaining unit budget.
