Description
 This position is responsible for leading and monitoring a group of assigned team members to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. Â
- Directs the day-to-day production activities of the teamÂ
- Conducts training to team members in his/her assigned areaÂ
- Empowers team to meet daily production goals/overall efficiencyÂ
- Performs production work when manning is low or builds are under efficiencyÂ
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with equipment and elevate to maintenance, if necessaryÂ
- Willingness to learn to operate all cells/presses/mobile equipment in designated areaÂ
- Inspect parts for defects and elevates to Quality for assistance, if necessaryÂ
- Promotes Kaizen activities to improve processes and proceduresÂ
- Creates and implements countermeasures for abnormalities or defectsÂ
- Provides direction and guidance for all team membersÂ
- Must be able to be rotated in all team leader positions within the facilityÂ
- Understands the Strengths and Weakness of Team Members and be able to coach and lead progressive disciplineÂ
- Must be able to speak to, and report out to FMDS boards and current conditions within their designated areasÂ
- Organizing tasks and setting goalsÂ
- Upholding the vision of the company and department and have got working relationships with support groups.Â
- Solving problems and resolving conflictsÂ
- Implement/maintain applicable management systems, processes, monitors, and continually improve its resultsÂ
- Ensures that the facility is in compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements.Â
- Must be able to identify and provide a control plan for applicable compliance obligations.Â

- Must ensure the safety of work assignments and workspaces, assign safety training related to hazards, provide safety procedures and equipment, correctly identify hazards.Â
- Look into causes and follow ups of incidents and take action to prevent similar incidents and discuss safety in regular meetings and performance reviews. Â
