We are seeking a qualified phone operator to join our Access Center team. Core responsibilities include:

  • Schedule patients for treatments by multiple providers and treatment areas 
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls for patients
  • Check email daily to ensure timely communication 
  • Resolve customer issues and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Utilize the Well App to assist patients as needed and respond to inquiries 
  • Attach all incoming fax reports to patient charts
  • Create and fax x-ray scripts for patients to the appropriate locations
  • Process medication refill requests by forwarding them to the provider as patients call
  • Generate work or school notes based on doctor recommendations and send them to patients via email or fax
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with patients
  • Accurately enters into the computer patient demographics, insurance information, and other pertinent patient information
  • Communicates using active listening, thinking/analysis, and appropriate professional response
  • Manage the maintenance of the providers’ schedules 
  • Handle online appointment requests in a timely manner
  • Provide translation assistance for Spanish speaking patients
  • Assist team members with questions pertaining to scheduling 
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 Required Skills & Experience

  • Candidate must have a High School Diploma 
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Medical health insurance background helpful
  • Medical office background experience preferred 
  • Customer service skills
  • Multi-tasker 
  • Candidate should be familiar with EMR
