Sonic Summary

The position involves performing diagnostic radiographic examinations for patients of all ages using radiation-producing equipment under the guidance of a licensed physician or chiropractor.
Candidates should be graduates of an AMA-accredited program in Radiologic Technology, with experience preferred but new graduates also considered.
A New Jersey DEP License and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) are required, along with BLS certification and IV Therapy certification within 90 days of hire.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift 20-50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various other physical tasks in a potentially noisy and varied temperature environment.

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed physician or chiropractor utilizing radiation producing equipment within established departmental guidelines serving neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

QUALIFICATION:

Education & Experience:

Graduate of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience preferred but new graduates acceptable.

Certification/Licensure:

New Jersey DEP License required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
BLS certified required.
IV Therapy certification within 90 days of hire
