MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients seeking urgent medical care, as well as occupational health services. This role includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Must be willing and able to float between our eight urgent care centers as needed to support staffing and ensure consistent, high-quality care across all locations. Our urgent care centers operate seven days a week. The Physician assistant will work three 12-hour shifts per week, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in urgent care or ER preferred
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
Certification/ Licensure:
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Active and unrestricted PA license in NJ
- DEA & NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
- BLS certification
- Obtain National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners certification within 6 months of accepting the job
