Systematically evaluates the strengths, needs, preferences, and challenges of infants and children, in collaboration with the family, as part of a NJ Early Intervention Team. Collaborates with family and other Individual Family Service Plan Team Members to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) which incorporates family priorities/concerns, clinical observation, and evaluation/assessment data to develop child and family outcomes. Implements evidenced-based instructional practices in the child s natural environment. Provides education, resources, and coaching to clients, family, caregivers, and health care professionals to promote and maintain health and well-being.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- 1 year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to 5years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities.
CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Division of Consumer Affairs Audiology and Speech- Language Pathology Advisory Committee pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.; This includes temporary licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Status
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Family centered practices.
- Knowledge of typical and atypical child growth and development
- Functional computer skills.
