Job Description:

Our company is looking for a talented Welder to join our dynamic team. We’re seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations. Your chief responsibilities will include welding and fabricating structural and miscellaneous steel metal components, such as beams, columns, stairs, rails, handrails and other miscellaneous pieces using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.  

To excel in this role, you should have knowledge of welding equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and have outstanding attention to detail.

Job Duties:

·         Be proficient with using flux core metal arc welding equipment (FCAW)

·         Understand drawings and can assemble parts according to the print

·         Capable of cutting with a torch, plasma and band saw in a safe manner

·         Safely operate an overhead crane

·         Familiar with using hand tools required for the job E.g. framing squares, combo squares, tape measures and grinders safely

·         Pay attention to detail

·         Weld components in flat or vertical position

·         Be able to perform physical labor

Job Experience:

·         3 years welding consistently 

·         Welding certification not required but is a plus

·         High school diploma
