Position Details:

You will prepare crossing zones and assist children in safely crossing streets.

The school locations will vary as a substitute.

Times:

Morning: 7:25 AM - 8:10 AM
Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsible for the use of discretion and independent judgment in the safe crossing of children.
Ability to work in outside conditions.
Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to use accurate judgment of traffic flow, speed and direction of travel.
Able to use hand-held stop sign, reflector vest, cones, and 20 MPH flashing lights.
Ability to work well with other people specifically children, parents and school officials.
Reliable and good attendance.
