Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support a secure federal construction project in Virginia Beach, VA. CST are responsible for monitoring construction activities, inspecting materials, escorting uncleared personnel, and helping protect the security integrity of the project.
Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance required.
Main Duties:
- Monitor construction activities within secure areas.
- Escort and observe uncleared workers and visitors.
- Inspect materials, tools, and equipment entering the site.
- Maintain inspection logs and security records.
- Conduct random and end-of-day inspections.
- Report suspicious activities or security concerns.
- Assist with enforcement of site security procedures.
Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance.
- 5 years of security, military, law enforcement, or related experience.
- Current CST Certification.
- Ability to observe, document, and report activities accurately.
- Ability to read construction drawings and schedules.
- Strong attention to detail.
