Dishwasher - North End Market

Position Overview 

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join our cafe team. The dishwasher plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashing maching and three-compartment sink 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen 

• Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized according to health and safety standards 

• Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as taking out trash, sweeping, and mopping floors 

• Restock clean dishes and supplies in appropriate areas 

• Support kitchen and front-of-house staff as needed 

• Follow cafe policies and safety procedures at all times 

Qualifications & Requirements 

• No prior experience required (training provided), but experience in a kitchen is a plus 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail 

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs 

• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic 

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
